Revology Cars celebrates its 10th anniversary

“It took us ten years to become an overnight sensation.”  That’s Tom Scarpello, founder and CEO of Revology Cars, reflecting on the company’s first decade in business.

During this time, Revology Cars has accelerated from an unknown start-up to being a leading player in the specialty car industry.

But while gratifying, the progress has been hard won, as is the case with most small, entrepreneurial businesses.

As the Orlando, Florida-based builder of reproduction original Ford Mustang and Shelby models moves into its second decade, Scarpello credits a laser focus on the customer, tenacity, and simple hard work for being a survivor in an industry littered with failures.

“Building cars is hard.  Many of the recently launched EV companies, such as Faraday Future, Proterra, Arrival, and Lordstown Motors, which attracted billions of dollars in funding, have failed, and many more, including Nikola and Fisker, are running out of cash in dramatic fashion,” says Scarpello.  “We are still here because we know what our customers really want, we take care of them, and we don’t give up.”

From the close relationship that Revology has with its customers, the company learned that most of them are entrepreneurs.  Says Yoshi Amano, Revology’s VP of marketing, sales, and service, “they know what it means to work around the clock for years to build a business, and they understand and appreciate what we have done to get to where we are.  I’ll never forget one of our clients, who has owned five Revology Mustangs, shared with us his experience building his business.  He said he just kept his head down, working, for years, then suddenly one day he looked up, and realized, hey, I made it.”

This mutual understanding has created a natural bond between the company and its customers.  And with that in mind, Revology is adopting a new brand tagline: “We’re part of your journey.”

“The cars we build have meaning to people beyond transportation.  They represent an achievement and reflect the character of the person who drives it.  Life is a journey, and for our clients, we are part of their journey,” says Amano.

As the years have passed, the hard work at Revology has paid off; with more models launched, production facilities and staff expanding, plus accolades from the media and a growing body of owners and company followers.

Along with positive reviews in leading automotive and lifestyle publications, Revology Cars was recently featured on the Jay Leno’s Garage YouTube series.

The progress made by Revology in developing its sophisticated, OEM-style manufacturing process has been reflected in the fast-accelerating pace of production. The company recently passed its 220th car production milestone, is increasing the size of its engineering and supply chain teams and has acquired additional space adjacent to its current facility, bringing the total footprint to 65,787 square feet.

From a customer perspective, the Revology approach to vehicle production is evidently meeting widespread approval. “One out of every four cars Revology is producing today is built for an existing client,” says Amano. “Our owner loyalty is extremely high, which is a great reflection of Revology’s dedication to design, engineering and production integrity.”

Revology is the first company ever licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction Ford.  It is also one of a handful of companies worldwide licensed by Shelby.

Revology offers a complete lineup of licensed reproduction 1965-1968 Mustang and Shelby GTs. Detailed specifications including content and pricing can be found on the Revology Cars website at, or by contacting Revology Cars directly at (800) 974-4463.
