Hi, I'm Tom Scarpello of Revology Cars, and this is car number 72 - a 1966 Shelby GT350 in Raven Black with Inca Gold LeMans stripes. So, this is the ‘66 GT350H, and the H, of course, stands for Hertz. The program in 1966 was a special run of 1000 Shelby GT350s destined for Hertz. The majority of those cars were painted like this one, Raven Black with Gold stripes, the Hertz colors. Although there were a few that were some other colors, there were a lot of stories of these cars being taken out and raced and brought back in kind of not in the same condition that they had gone out. But it got the car a lot of visibility.   Nowadays obviously just as valuable as any GT350. These cars are now for a concourse edition of well over two hundred thousand dollars. So, of course, this GT350 has all of the amenities that you would expect on a Revology Mustang, the 460 horsepower Gen 3, 5-liter Ti-VCT V8 engine. This car is equipped with the T56 XL six-speed manual. It's a great close ratio box. The shifter is really solid. This car has a heavy-duty drive line, features a twin-disc clutch. We're using now a torsion limited slip diff. Suspension, of course, is our Shelby suspension. Our Shelby brakes - a little bit stiffer than the standard suspension. The brakes are larger, six piston calipers in front and four pistons in the rear.  People ask me if I think the brakes are worth it? It really comes down to your preference on the wheel side. We offer a 16-inch wheel and a 17-inch wheel. 16 looks a bit more original and if originality is your preference, then go with the 16, the brake package that is standard with the 16-inch wheel. The 17-inch wheel allows you to package a larger brake, and that's why we make 17 standard on the Shelby. It's a really nice brake pack. There's really good pedal feel, larger swept area, slotted rotors for better heat dissipation. So, when we built our first GT350H that was car number 3, our client graciously loaned us his original ‘66 GT350H, and we used it as a reference car.   So, we're able to get, kind of, all the measurements about where things were supposed to be and how they were originally done and just really get everything dialed in perfectly because the authenticity is so important just to be as accurate as possible. But then only make changes where it's necessary in order to accommodate the modern components, which is really what we try to do to maintain as much as possible the original style and character of the car. And then only change where it's necessary to get the improved functionality. So, you've got a car that you can really drive and use and enjoy and will give you years of service. It's just fun. I mean, the whole point really of an automobile is to use it, to drive it!
