Revology to launch performance and restoration services division

Orlando, FL – Revology Cars, the Florida-based manufacturer of totally reengineered, all-new reproduction 1965-1967 Mustang and Shelby automobiles, is launching a new division to offer performance upgrades and restoration services for owners of Mustangs and other performance cars.

Revology Performance (www.revologyperformance.com) offers performance upgrades and restoration work including rust repair, metal work, body panel fitting, engine, transmission, and driveline swaps, supercharger installations, suspension, steering, and brake upgrades, fitment of modern air conditioning, and installation of sophisticated electronics. The company can even convert original Mustang coupes to fastbacks or convertibles. Revology Performance offers a full line of parts and accessories through its website, from the same manufacturers that supply components for the Revology Mustangs and Shelbys.

Revology Cars specializes in the integration of modern technology with 1960s vehicle architecture. Revology Performance will leverage the company’s expertise in this area by focusing on the “restomod” segment of the enthusiast hobby. The word “restomod” comes from “restoration” and “modification” and is used to describe a classic car that has been restored with modern components to deliver improved performance and reliability. Restomods are becoming more popular with enthusiasts who love the character and styling of the 1960s classics, but want modern performance, reliability, and comfort.

“The Revology Mustangs and Shelbys are our flagship products,” says Tom Scarpello, Revology’s founder and CEO. “They are very exclusive, brand-new, hand-built vehicles sold with a factory warranty. But the price is out of reach for many enthusiasts. Revology Performance is about ‘technology trickle-down’, leveraging the development work that has been done already to make the technology and related benefits accessible to more people.”

By introducing performance upgrades and restoration services to its portfolio, Revology Cars will be able to reach a wider customer base. Ken Yeager, former president of the Mustang Club of America and active Mustang and Shelby collector, applauds the move. “Revology Cars builds exceptionally high quality reproduction Mustangs and Shelbys, but unfortunately, they are priced out of reach of many enthusiasts. However, it is possible to upgrade an original Mustang for a fraction of what it costs to build an entirely new car, and you can get many of the same benefits. I think Revology Performance will be an attractive option for a lot of people.”

Revology Cars will expand its current footprint by 25% by taking over an adjacent space at its current Orlando, Florida location, where the 1965-1967 Revology Mustangs and Shelbys are built. The same Revology team members responsible for the creation of these spectacular cars will perform upgrades and restoration work on customer vehicles. “Our team members are building extremely high end Mustangs every day. Nobody knows these cars and how to install these modern components better than we do,” says Nathan Loucks, Revology’s production manager and Revology Performance technical guru. “Revology has highly experienced technicians with expertise in fabrication, body, paint, trim, chassis, and powertrain. No one person does it all; rather, team members are experts in their respective areas. This focus on specialization allows Revology Performance to provide a top level installation, at a competitive price.”
