Purchasing Analyst

PAY AND BENEFITS 

  • A Purchasing Analyst in our company will make between $50,960-$64,480 per year 
  • Company-sponsored medical, dental, and vision coverage, and Employee Assistance Program (EAP) 
  • 80.0 hours paid time off (PTO) starts accruing immediately after hire, and new hires are eligible for holiday pay (72.0 hours per year) after only 90 days  
  • As an official licensee of Ford Motor Company, Revology employees are eligible for discounts on new Ford and Lincoln vehicles for themselves and immediate family members 
  • 401(k) with company match (Q2 2022) 
  • New, air-conditioned facility (Q3 2022).  This facility is more than double the size of our two current buildings, and will allow us to consolidate all operations under one roof 

ABOUT THE JOB 

The Purchasing Analyst is responsible for ensuring the parts and materials needed for production are ordered correctly, in the right quantities, on time.  Specific tasks include: 

  • Create and issue Purchase Orders for purchased parts, raw materials, supplies, subcontract, and outsourced services 
  • Track issued POs until shipped from vendor’s dock with tracking number 
  • Manage backorders, including communication with suppliers on backorders, locating alternate sources for backordered parts, and making alternative logistics arrangements when necessary 
  • Optimize issuance of POs for EOQs to reduce freight and administrative cost 
  • Create Sales Orders for service and warranty 
  • Create and issue Purchase Orders for tools 
  • Create Credit Memos for returns 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • Prior purchasing experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment 
  • Experience using inventory management systems  
  • Basic understanding of the parts of an automobile 
  • Excellent written English skills with obsessive attention to spelling and punctuation 
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications  
  • Ability and willingness to follow work instructions and do things the same way, to the same standard of quality, every time  

Production Scheduler / Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and update the Master Production Schedule
  • Issue manufacture orders and configured assembly process manuals (APMs) to support production
  • Track and report status of all units in production
  • Assist the Purchasing and Materials Planning and Logistics teams with demand planning
  • Maintain the Supply Chain Management KPI dashboard and track and publish status reports including Production Summary, Actual vs. Plan, and others
  • Gather data, analyze, and report findings using various software tools
  • Identify and implement process improvement initiatives

REQUIREMENTS

  • Four-year college degree in a STEM field and/or equivalent experience managing complex operations and schedules in a manufacturing, construction, or similar environment
  • Strong math skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office applications; in particular, must be highly proficient with Excel
  • Excellent communication skills, especially written skills
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail
  • Ability to function in a fast paced, dynamic environment, while consistently maintaining a high level of quality
  • Basic understanding of the parts of an automobile
