Orlando, FL, October 7, 2026 – Revology is adding more top down excitement to its model line with the launch of the new 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet convertible. Production will be limited to just 12 vehicles.
The Cobra Jet convertible is based on Revology’s ’68 Mustang 2+2 Fastback Cobra Jet and boasts the same impressive 710-hp output as that model. Under the hood sits Ford’s 5.0-litre DOHC 5.0-litre V8, boosted by a Whipple supercharger. The power output is at least twice that of the engine used in the original, extremely rare 1968 Mustang GT Cobra Jet. The Revology powerplant can be paired with a choice of Tremec six-speed manual transmission or a 10-speed automatic.
As with all Revology models, the Cobra Jet convertible body structure is structurally reinforced and assembled with automated spot welding, seam welding, and heat-cured structural adhesive to ensure chassis strength and stiffness well beyond that of the original car.
Inside, the cockpit is well equipped, with walnut veneer on the dashboard, walnut rimmed steering wheel, and a touch screen display with reverse camera. Available options include full Nappa leather trim for seats, doors and center console.
“The Revology Cobra Jet, with its combination of extreme performance and purposeful design, has become one of our most popular models,” says Tom Scarpello, founder and CEO of Revology. “It is already a visceral car – and the convertible version amplifies the experience.”
