This Cobra Jet is powered by a Roush-supercharged 710hp Ford Gen 3 5.0 Ti-VCT “Coyote” DOHC V8 engine. Power is transferred to the precision-engineered Ford 8.8” Traction-Lok limited slip differential, through a carbon fiber driveshaft coupled to a T56XL 6-speed manual transmission. The hydraulicly assisted twin-disc clutch offers all the performance as well as ease of operation.
The body is covered with high quality Glasurit Highland Green Metallic paint, highlighted with a painted black tail panel. The hood is adorned with a Cobra Jet hood scoop and is held closed with stylish polished flush-mount hood latches. The body features 100% new steel unibody construction with additional modern structural adhesive for added strength and rigidity. Additional features include modern door hinges and latches for smooth and quiet operation, modern trunk latch (with remote push button), and polyurethane bonded laminated windshield and backlite glass for increased rigidity and safety.
Inside, you’ll find Saddle-colored Mercedes Nappa Leather interior with power-operated comfortable bucket front seats with head restraints and a fold-down rear seat. The dash and custom full length console feature Flat Cut Walnut veneer. This Cobra Jet also features a 3-spoke walnut wood steering wheel and a full array of digital gauges, USB ports, and LED interior lighting.
This vehicle is equipped with precisely tuned double wishbone front suspension with power rack and pinion steering and 3-link rear suspension for a modern performance driving experience. It stops with gray anodized GT brake package of slotted rotors and 6-piston front and 4-piston brake calipers. Wheels are a great classic touch with 17” x 9.5” Torq Thrust wheels with gray spokes and machined aluminum center caps, wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 P275/40/ZR17 tires.
