The 1967 Shelby GT500 Super Snake was a prototype vehicle developed by Shelby American for Goodyear to promote its new Thunderbolt tire. The Super Snake featured a 600hp Ford 427 SOHC racing engine, similar to the one that powered the LeMans-winning GT40s to victory that year. Shelby considered building a limited run of 50 Super Snakes, but the high cost of the racing engine made the project infeasible. The sole example passed through various hands until it was sold at auction in 2019 for $2.2 million; at the time, the highest price ever paid for a Mustang. The Revology Super Snake features a unique front grille with outboard driving lights and polished laser cut stainless steel surrounds, a louvered fiberglass hood, Super Snake badging, and the iconic three center stripe layout.

Laser cut from bulk sheet stock and precisely hand fit to ensure quality, the brushed aluminum trim is applied to the instrument cluster bezel, glovebox door, and console surface

The console delete option replaces console w/ floor mounted shifter. Power door lock switch, AUX/USB ports, and passenger power window switch are mounted below the center air conditioner vents. Manual transmission only. Not available with touch screen head unit.

The Revology Shelby GT500 is equipped with a carbon fiber driveshaft and heavy-duty Ford 8.8” rear with 1350 yoke, S-Trac helical torque-biasing limited slip differential, 35 spline axles, and finned aluminum differential cover. Manual transmission cars are equipped with a twin-disc clutch and 3.73 ratio Ford ring and pinion, while 10R80 automatic cars feature a 3.31 ratio.

Brakes

13.06" front and 12.88" rear ventilated and slotted rotors and fixed six piston front and four piston rear calipers provide superior braking performance and fade resistance with excellent pedal feel and minimal brake dust. Select either gray anodized or painted calipers.
