This Revology 1967 Shelby GT500 2+2 Fastback is a factory-built media/demo car. Under the hood is a Roush-supercharged, 710 hp Ford Gen 3 5.0L Ti-VCT “Coyote” DOHC V8 engine. The engine is paired with a T56XL 6-speed manual transmission and a hydraulically assisted twin-disc clutch, delivering performance along with ease of operation. Power is sent to a precision-engineered Ford 8.8” Traction-Lok limited-slip differential through a lightweight carbon fiber driveshaft.
The Shelby GT500 body is finished in Lime Gold Metallic, the most popular Mustang color of 1967. The main body color, along with Alpine White Le Mans center stripes, is applied using high-quality Glasurit paint. The GT500 hood is secured with polished flush-mount hood latches. The body features an all-new steel unibody construction enhanced with modern structural adhesives for increased strength and rigidity. Additional features include modern door hinges and latches for smooth, quiet operation, a modern trunk latch with remote push-button access, and polyurethane-bonded windshield and backlite glass for improved rigidity and safety.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in black Nappa leather, featuring power-operated front bucket seats with head restraints and a fold-down rear seat. The dash and full-length custom console are accented with brushed aluminum inserts. This GT500 also includes a 3-spoke walnut wood steering wheel, a full array of digital gauges, USB ports, and LED interior lighting.
This vehicle is equipped with a double wishbone front suspension with power rack-and-pinion steering, along with a 3-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by a gray anodized GT brake package featuring 12.88” slotted rotors with 6-piston front and 4-piston rear calipers. The car rides on 17” x 8” Shelby 10-spoke aluminum wheels with chrome center caps, wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 P245/40ZR17 tires.
The vehicle can be driven from Orlando, FL to the original Shelby American shop in Venice, CA—or for shorter trips—with amenities including air conditioning, power windows, remote keyless entry, push-button ignition, a touchscreen display, backup camera, and a 4-speaker audio system. Additional features include a stainless steel Borla dual exhaust system, LED exterior lighting, automatic LED headlamps, TPMS, and an integrated charging port under the rear bumper (with included CTEK battery charger/maintainer).
