Orlando, FL (February 14, 2024) – The recent completion of car number 200 marks a special production milestone for Revology Cars.
The Orlando, Florida-based builder of reproduction original Ford Mustang and Shelby models has been in business since 2014.
Company CEO and founder Tom Scarpello says it took Revology Cars eight years to build its first 100 cars, but the next 100 took just two years.
“We are growing faster than ever,” says Scarpello. “In 2023 alone, Revology produced 58 Mustangs and Shelby GTs. This reflects the remarkable progress of the company and the fast-growing popularity of our products.”
It may seem counterintuitive that a specialty car manufacturer is focused on growth, yet for Revology Cars, growth means the opportunity for continuous improvement.
“The more cars we build, the better we get. Craftsmanship, quality, reliability, durability—we are always improving,” says Scarpello.
A car may be considered art, but it is not like a painting or a sculpture, argues Scarpello. Unlike those art forms, a masterpiece automobile is the product of the carefully orchestrated work of not only craftsmen and women, specialists in their respective trades, but also the work of design, quality, and process engineers, that blend harmoniously to create a beautiful yet functional object. “Revology believes that for a car to be truly beautiful, it must first and foremost function as an automobile; and if functionality is compromised, the magic is lost,” Scarpello adds.
“Unlike Revology, others in the custom car industry trade functionality for styling, reliability for power, and comfort for handling, among other things. We ensure our vehicles are fully capable of functioning as everyday transportation and believe that is as important as how they look,” says Scarpello. “Revology is experiencing increasing demand for our new reproduction Mustang and Shelby GTs because they are better engineered and better built than any restomod on the market today.”
Every Revology produced is special, and car # 200 presents the classic look of a Shelby model, being a 1967 Shelby GT350 finished in Wimbledon white with Guardsman Blue LeMans stripes, Shelby 10-spoke wheels and a black interior.
With a decade of car-building experience under its belt, Revology Cars is rightfully proud of the progress the company has made.
From a customer perspective, the Revology approach to car production is evidently meeting widespread approval. “One out of every four cars Revology is producing today is built for an existing client,” says company marketing and sales director, Yoshi Amano. “Our owner loyalty factor is extremely high, which is a great reflection of Revology’s dedication to design, engineering and production integrity.”
Revology is the first company ever licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction Ford. It is also one of a handful of companies worldwide licensed by Shelby.
Revology offers a complete lineup of licensed reproduction 1965-1968 Mustang and Shelby GTs. Detailed specifications including content and pricing can be found on the Revology Cars website at www.revologycars.com, or by contacting Revology Cars directly at (800) 974-4463.
