Revology Cars is reaching out to auto enthusiasts in car-centric California, with new representatives in Los Angeles and San Francisco, plus locally based test drive models for prospective customers.
For Florida-based Revology Cars, the move is a major step towards satisfying California’s long love affair with specialty cars.
“While California-based specialty companies and their associated reality shows have been getting the lion’s share of the media and public attention, Orlando-based Revology Cars has been quietly building itself into the world leader in 1960s Mustang and Shelby GT rolling chassis and restored original automobiles,” says Revology Cars founder and CEO, Tom Scarpello. “However, most enthusiasts in California have never even seen a Revology Mustang, much less driven one.
All this is about to change. Revology Cars is sending demonstration vehicles to California. The first three cars are already there, and more are on the way”.
The company focus on California is reinforced by Revology’s marketing, sales and service vice-president, Yoshi Amano. “Revology Mustangs and Shelby GTs are superbly crafted works of art, but what is most impressive is how they drive—nothing at all like a 1960s automobile. You have to drive it to appreciate it, and if you live in California, it is now much easier to do that.”
“To improve our reach and help cater to existing customers in California, we have appointed sales representatives in the LA and San Francisco areas,” Amano adds.
Based in LA, Pablo Kovacs comes to Revology Cars with a strong background in the enthusiast car market. A major Porsche aficionado, Kovacs joined Singer Vehicle Design as that company catapulted to worldwide fame, before moving to another Porsche-focused specialty company in LA, Gunther Werks.
Now Kovacs is using his familiarity with the California auto enthusiast community and its regular events to spread the word about Revology Cars. “I’m so fortunate to be tasked with promoting Revology on the west coast,” says Kovacs. “These cars check every box for anyone who loves beautifully made automobiles.”
Further north in San Francisco, Revology representative Eric Thompson also brings a car enthusiast background to the role. Thompson has worked as a broker for buyers of rare and exotic performance cars and in the marketing arena for brands such as Levi’s and Uber.
“Revology is already embraced by car enthusiasts and I’m excited to introduce Northern California to Revology’s full offering of reproduction vehicles,” says Thompson.
Bay area car lovers attending the renowned and long running Hillsborough Concours this coming Sunday, June 23, will have a chance to meet both Kovacs and Thompson, as they will be showcasing a Revology 1968 Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback at the Crystal Springs golf course venue.
As well as the Revology Fastback being displayed at the Concours, the company will have another 1968 Mustang GT 2+2 Fastback in the California test drive fleet, along with a 1966 Mustang GT convertible.
Revology is the first company ever licensed by Ford to build a new reproduction Ford. It is also one of a handful of companies worldwide licensed by Shelby.
Revology offers a complete lineup of licensed reproduction 1965-1968 Mustang and Shelby GTs. Detailed specifications including content and pricing can be found on the Revology Cars website at www.revologycars.com, or by contacting Revology Cars directly at (800) 974-4463.
